Robert Stuart-Smith’s Autonomous Manufacturing Lab (AML-UCL) has successfully been awarded UK Government EPSRC funding for the collaborative project: Aerial Additive Building Manufacturing (Aerial ABM).The £2.4mil research project will develop an aerial robotic construction system that enables aerial robots to autonomously 3D print in unbounded volumes at large scale. The AML will be developing a multi-robot aerial printing control framework capable of parallel printing operations. The project is a collaboration between University College London, Imperial College London, University of Bath.
